Hello Nick,

I love your site Nick. Keep up the good work. I retired from the Stanhope Police dept.,in 1993.Having served
as it's Police Chief for 18 years and on the department for 33 years and turning to your site keeps me in touch
with my beloved Sussex County. My wife and I retired to Florida and miss our home county very much.
Thanks again and don't forget that Stanhope is the southern gateway to beautiful Sussex County..

Respectfully,
Nick Grego

While surfing on the net, I found your web site today.  I must thank you for all of your hard work to put this site
and cams together.  I have passed it on to my friends in the area that I am sure do not know of your site.

I can't thank you enough for such a wonderful site!

Nick,
I checked out SussexCountyWeather in early October. It has been bookmarked as a favorite ever since.
I was telling people around Columbus Day that we were going to have a white Christmas, due to your prediction!!
The clincher was your April 6th date. I remember the '70 Easter storm and a few other whoppers in the mid 80's during April.
However, even though this winter was robust with snow, I thought it was played out by mid March. Over the last two
weeks the weather pattern really shifted into the Spring mode. Each day I would check your forecast and was saying no way
will any wintry weather return. WRONG!!
A few times I emailed Scott Gordon, because I am one of those few nut cases that really enjoys snow.
My compliments to you for your daily predictions and a superb job at predicting so many snow events this past winter.
Dave from Randolph

 Hi Nick,

I sent you an email some time back thanking you for your wonderful site. I'm the old Korean Vet. and I was
wondering if you have a newsletter..I know you're so busy probably not but I thought I'd ask. You are the only
Forecaster that is accurate with Sussex weather.!!  Sometimes Nick, I can do pretty well on the computer but with a lot of
meds. and traumatic head injury I have many down day's with confusion etc. hence my question on the newsletter.
I hope you and your family are well and it is great to have a local expert on the wx.
God Bless and Thanks a lot.!!

Kind regards,

Bernie Sweeney,
Lake Mohawk.

I am just sending you a message to tell you… I love your webb page.

I live in Virginia Beach, Va .  I am formally from Ogdensburg, NJ.  I bring up your webb page everyday.   Love
the cams for all around the areas, look at them also everyday, the weather, etc.  I bring up all that you have
  on your site.

I just want you to know, what a terrific job you have done with this site.   I am so pleased with it.  Thank you
  so much.

 Eileen L.

Just wanted to say congrats on predicting this storm [Christmas 2002] (refering to your  yearly predictions) .
You nailed this one to the exact day!

R. Greig

Hi Nick,

May I wish you and your family a Very Happy Christmas and Happy New Year . I have watched you on
Ch. 8 and you always do a very good job. My grandson put me on to your Web Site and it is really spectactular. I
really didn't expect to have such a high level weather station here in sussex county.
I am a disabled USAF  veteran, service connected wartime... Korea. I was an air traffic controller and
weather was a big part of my studies.

Very good luck Nick and thanks for your very fine service. Have a wonderful Holiday season.!

Kind regards, Bernie Sweeney,

This is the best weather site in the state. I check your forecast and weather coms. from work.
I recommended this site to some of my work associates and they were completely amazed.
They booked marked your site and check it frequently during inclement weather as I do.

Keep up the great work.
Dennis Aanstoots

Just a note to say what a great site this is. Worried wife called alerting me to the driving hazards
"back home"; as I sit here at work in Bergen County.

Visited your site, and was greatly surprised by it's content and layout. Good job. Keep up the good work.
Safe and happy holidays to you and yours and your staff.

I am so glad I found you! Since I work in Somerset County, This is a great way to keep track of what it is like at home.
There is a big difference between the two areas,  and I like to know what I am going to encounter on the way home.
Judging by today's forecast, I think I am going to pack up and head north a.s.a.p.

Thanks for your coverage!

Pat C. (NE corner of Lake Hopatcong)

Nick -

I was just told about your website.  It is excellent. I've been watching the pics of the Sussex Airport
and Ross' Corner to plan my trip home in this storm.  It makes me feel much better knowing that the roads
that I need to travel are pretty clear, even though the parking lot here is snow covered.

Great job!!!!

Nick,

I left my home in Jersey to take a job in Texas 3 years ago and often miss home. Whenever I get
a little homesick, I often view the webcams located on your page and feel even worse !
You have done a wonderful job and I'm grateful I get a glimpse of my favorite part of NJ !! Well Done !!!!!!!

Regards,

Joe

Nick:
What a great tool the traffic cams are!  I can't tell you how much use we get out of it especially during our
daily commutes.  Thank you for a great tool that we utilize daily.

Again-your hard work and talents are really bringing Sussex County up with the other counties.
I am not looking forward to the snow-but at least I could see how bad it gets to leave work when I need to.

Janet

Nick,

Nice website!  I enjoy the content, and especially appreciate the weather/traffic cams.
Keep up the good work!

Dear Nick:
Thank you so much for such a welcome website.  I live on the Mountain at Culvers Gap. I agree that so many of
us in Sussex Co. do work out of the area and need this information, even though I retired from the workforce in
March, I'm still interested in road conditions.  I'm so sick of listening to weather forecasts that only target the
large cities in the Tri-State area and then end with "Temps will be colder or Snow will be falling North and
West of the city" - which means us and we can only guess!

Thanks again for keeping us all in tune with what is happening around us and keep us the good work.

Joan Ann

Nick,
As a former Newton residence I wanted to let you Know that your new webpage for Sussex County weather
is going to be a great service to all in Sussex County. I regularly read the NJH on line and therefore I read the
article about your new website. After reading the article decided to check out your website and was very impressed.
Keep up the good work.

Sincerely,
Vicki Brown, Shelbyville TN

I thought it was interesting (and somewhat strange) to note that this evening it was 41 in mount washington, NH
and at the same time it was below freezing in the hills of MA, CT, and of course High Point, NJ (love today's
live cam photo of the ice crashing tree limbs down, it is amazing to be able to prove to people that High Point
is so completely different than the rest of the state climatologically speaking).   Thanks again for the great site.

Dan Castner

Nick,   I just want to say thank you for the great job you are doing.  I check your site almost daily or at least
whenever I wish to get an accurate forecast!  Keep up the great work!

Nick,
I was informed of your web page by my  friend and former colleague Tony Pann (he now works in Washington DC).
Your web page is an impressive feat. In addition to broadcasting at WBAL in Baltimore, MD, I also teach two
college classes and have shared your web page with my students.

Thank you,

Good morning Nick,

That photo of you on the Brooklyn Bridge was a great touch.  Besides being the most accurate weatherman
I've ever followed, you appear to be a fearless engineer as well.

hey nick,i just wanted to let you know that you did a great job on the winter predictions. you were 2 for2
with last winter as well. do you think that if we did not have a drought this winter it would have been
more white then wet? i just moved to green twp in sussex and cant wait until next winter. i guess i will
enjoy the warm weather now and get my tan.heres a note for ya,sunday late into early monday we
had 1.40 inches of water,i hope that helps with the drought. thanks nick

Hi Nick,

Just wanted to take a moment to thank you for your great web site.  I live near Tampa Florida now and
have for about fifteen years, but, I grew up, and spent almost thirty years in Sussex County, up at
Lake Stockholm.  It’s great to be able to check your site to see what’s cooking weather wise through
\the web cams and the reports. I especially enjoy it during the winter when I   can again see snow
in areas that I once frequented, especially up at High Point.

Even though I don’t mind not having to drive in it, I do miss being able to look out the window at,
and walking in the snow falling in a very peaceful, quite area of  the world that I once called home.

 Thanks for the memories.

 Dave Jung

Nick:

I appreciate your website and all of the records, and especially the camera showning High Point
(to prove how much more snow they get up there compared to everywhere else).   Thanks again for
the work, I live in New York now, but as an avid weather fan seeing it raining out my window at
40 degrees i can pretty much count on snow back in the county.

Thanks
Daniel Castner

Hey Nick,

Thanks so much for you obs yesterday! they really helped out, especially since our radars were not
showing the snow in the higher terrain.  Thanks again.

Nick -  Thanks, and we love your webpage.  Great service!
Your weather predictions are very accurate and we appreciate that!

Nick,
Over the past few years you have been a great help. Once I called you from Florida, trying to
figure out which way we should drive back to beat a snowstorm, and another when I called you
from Kansas after checking out the forecast on the site. Both times you were right on the money.
In fact, last March when I was flying in from Kansas City you recommended an earlier flight,
which I got and sure  enough I made it to the top of Sparta Mountain just in time.
Keep up  the great work. Your web site is great!

Nick,
I have always used your forecasts for local weather, but this is the first time I have looked
at the "Storm Reports" page. Excellent Graphic!  As far as reports go, I will gladly send any info
that I observed on my north on Rt. 23. I commute from Clifton.

Hi Nick, Just went to your site for the first time, its amazing! I had no idea we were 225,433 mile from
the moon...ha! What great info & accurate weather conditions. I've added it to my favorites & will use it often.
Definitely will recommend it to all my clients. Its the best weather site ever! All the best to you & your family.

Thank you for the great job on this website! I appreciate the Bible verses and your emphasis on

Hi Nick,
My daughters are on a swim team and their coaches have used the site to determine if practice should
be held or not due to weather.  I like Scott Gordon's weather map discussion group.
It helps my students to forecast the weather for their class lab reports.

Thank you again.  Have a good day.

Nick:
Thank you for your recent help in an investigation.  The information you provided to me assisted
me with the preparation of an affidavit for a complaint warrant in an investigation. Thanks.

Nick:
What a great web site you have! Been a "fan" of your meteorology skills for over a year now...
I don't know how you do it but your long range accuracy is unbelievable!

Thanks
Keep up the great site
Ted

Hello Nick,
Last winter I checked your site nearly every day.  I must say that your long range forcasting was
indeed very impressive.  I am a teacher, thus I watch the weather very closely to look forward to those
wonderful snowdays.  (Our district, sadly, puts no snow days in the school calendar, thus we must
make up every one we have......certainly takes the serendipitous nature out of a snow day!)
In any case, I access several sites throughtout the winter to check on what might be heading our
way.  Keep up the good work.
Looking forward to  watching the weather with you...
                                                      Mike Foley

Hi Nick. Many, many thanks and kudos for the sussex county weather site. Not only do we appreciate
the local forecasts and timely updates, but the references towards America and God are terrific.
Makes me very proud to be living in Sussex County, NJ!  I have the site locked in my Favorites
column and talk it up whenever and wherever the subject comes up.
Keep it up, and we love it

Nick,
I go to your site everyday, and I cannot believe it. You are right on the spot again.
Its snowing in Hopatcong right now and I wanted to congratulate you on your success of
predicting snow.  Too bad it won't snow on Christmas though.  Well, I just wanted to say thanks
on keeping up on the Sussex County Forecast site!

Hi Nick,
As you know from previous email, we are fans of yours.  You've now shown us that in addition to being an
invaluable source of accurate weather predictions and general weather-related information, you have a
great sense of humor!

Great job!
We at the Franklin Borough website would like permission to link to the Hamburg weather site.
Can we also link to the school closing site?
Thank you

Dear Nick,

I don't know what to say but THANK YOU  for your network.  During the storm on March 30th we were able
to take a much safer route around High Point other then up the rt. 23 hill.  Your information and especially
camera at High Point clearly showed much colder temperatures with lots of ice from the freezing rain.
Yet, at the time is was just plain rain in the lower elevations. Because of your web site we made sure
to get the local conditions before driving. We knew that the temperatures were close to freezing.
We later found out that cars got stuck up there and also some accidents. You may have saved our lives!

Keep up this great, fantastic service you are providing.

Sue S.

Hi Nick,
I really like your web site and have it in my favorites at home and at work.  I especially appreciate the cameras
in Augusta, Rt. 15 at Ross's Corner, and at High Point.    Your site is much  better than the
Weather Channel, even though they are great, because your information is right where we live and travel to
work and that is exactly what we need when the weather is snowy or rainy.   I'm very happy that I found your
site and I hope you keep providing such great information for a long time to come.
Thanks again.

Susan

Just want to thank you for this web page. I recently took a job in Newton and I live in Pen Argyl, PA.

Thanks again.

Dear Nick Stefano,
Hi I am Natalie Cibenko from Frankford Township School and in fifth grade. You had came to our
school to talk to us about weather a few months ago. I had a lot of fun. I understand weather more now.
I have a question about what happened with the weather today. Why didn't we get the amount of snow
predicted? Oh and by the way, everytime a night before a snowstorm I come on here to see if school
is closed or not. You did a great job on your site and I come on it everyday! Good luck!

Hi Nick-
Thanks so much for the informative presentation you gave to the 4th graders here at Helen Morgan School.
The children really enjoyed it, and learned lots too, as you'll see from their notes. You explained the various
weather phenomena in a way that the children could really understand - no small feat, where something as
complex as the weather is concerned! Thanks again for sharing your time and expertise with
us!

Hi Nick,
I want to say that you have a great website.  Now I don't have to wait and listen to boring music

Dear Nick,
Just visited your web site for the 1st time today!  I love the way it's set up!  Great graphics!
My husband has been a fan of your site for a year or so.  He's the one who first told me about your
weather forecasts.  We have frequent conversations re: "What did Nick say?"
We watch channel 9 news every night, but we like to refer to your local forecast for an
accurate local update!  Loving this March snow!!                Margie Mills (Lafayette)

Nick - It's a real pleasure to log onto your site! It's easy to tell that you keep the weather up to date. I
particularly like your comments throughout the day!

Please keep it up!

Thanks...Tom

Hi! My name is Shaun and I live in Lafayette NJ. Every morning when I get to work I like to see what the
weather is going to be like.  I use to go to weather.com  or WUnderground.com.  I started to figure out that
the Weather channel is not reliable and WUnderground is better but not great all the time.  I recently found
your site and you have been the best ever so far.  I was just wondering how your get your data?  If you
have your own equipment at your house or do you work somewhere?  I was just wondering.
Thanks

Congratulations on a great website. From the school closings, to the cams, to the weather forecasts,

Nick,
I can't begin to tell you how helpful your site was this morning. R/ZR line was pretty clear cut with coastal
front never really getting close to you but watching the temps in Sussex at the different elevations was great.
ASOS from Airports was good in this situation , but your stuff can't be beat in the way it's set up on the site.

What a great site! Caught your clip on Channel 8 this evening, and have added your site to our favorites. Thanks for the information. It's great to have all the local weather and history trivia too! Wishing you a very Happy Holiday Season!

Dear Nick,

I've only just discovered your web-site but must congratulate you on the
excellent service that you provide. There has always been and continues
to be a void of the main stream media (so dominated by the NY metro
market) when it comes to weather forecasts and conditions for our
region. The micro-climate of our region is fascinating yet relatively
unknown to most people outside of our area. As the population of Sussex
County and surrounding locales continues to grow, the need for accurate
conditions and forecasts is that much more needed. You are filling a
very important need and I look forward to "tuning" in.

Charles Kasznar

Nick,
What a fantastic web site you created. And now Traffic cams too? My
wife and I are glad that someone took the initiative to provide this
much needed information from Sussex County. You should get an award!

Hi Nick,

Great website!  I saw you this past weekend on Skylands weekly, I was very surprised to learn about the
traffic/weather cams here in Sussex County.  I am very interested in the same. I too am intrigued by the
drastic changes in weather as you increase in elevation even if only a few hundred feet.  For instance
driving up Holland Mountain road from Berkshire valley to Stockholm or up Hamburg Mountain from
Franklin to Stockholm, great stuff.  My family doesn't get nearly as amazed as I when we travel in the car.

Hi Nick--neat and useful (web)site.  You caused me to "smile, with warmth"
in the good memories of of growing up in Franklin during the 30s/40s.  It seems there was more of the
beautiful white stuff then, not to mention the recall of the sound of "crunchy" snow underfoot.
Some asides: DOB 07/15/31, Sparta Mt., aka Larry, Franklin High '48, now it's summers in maine and
winters in fHi Nick--neat and useful (web)site.  You caused me to "smile, with warmth" in the good
memorieslorida--no snow for me now, although y2k has been a cool, so much for global-warming
experience.
Godspeed and ASAP (Always Say A Prayer), ttfn.

Mr. Stefano,

As returnees to Sussex County (we lived in Wantage Twp. until 1993), we are happily surprised to
find your excellent traffic/weather website. Rest assured, as commuters, we will check in before we leave
for work.  The cameras are placed in locations that usually clog up in the mornings.

Also, having local weather at our fingertips is extremely useful. We appreciate the work you've put into
the website.  It shows.

Thank you very much!

Hello,
I wanted to let you know that I enjoy checking the weather in Sussex County. I grew up less
than a mile from Ross' Corner and spent many years at Culver Lake so I have been watching
the snow build up there at Ideal Farms.  I live in the Shenandoah Valley of Virginia now and
we only got a slight dusting from this storm. Am looking forward to the additions that are coming.
